Customer Service Representative

Job Description

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, experienced and outgoing person that will quickly become an integral part of our collaborative team. Will respond to customer inquiries by telephone or e-mail to provide non-technical problem resolution. Build ongoing sustainable business relationships with our customers through repeated contact and consultation. Work in partnership with sales, engineering, purchasing and manufacturing partners to grow our business with existing customers, develop and gain new customers to meet/exceed monthly sales goals. BlueBay’s Customer Service Representatives are challenged to continuously work to increase customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Respond in a prompt and thorough manner to Customer Service inquiries, Quote and Sales Order requests
  • Place Purchase Orders with vendors and monitor shipments to meet customer delivery requests
  • Interface with BlueBay team members as well as customers and manufacturing partners
  • Assist with office reception responsibilities
  • Assist with shipping & receiving responsibilities
  • Inventory control
  • Resolve requests and problems that may require a customized response
  • Analyze a customer's service needs and refer requests to other service or technical departments for follow up or additional information as needed
  • Provide accurate and timely updates on customer needs and factors that contribute to customer satisfaction
  • Utilize CRM and accounting databases to record activities and other information
  • Independently perform a wide range of duties under general guidance from supervisors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nashville location
  • At least 3+ years of professional Customer Service experience
  • Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills coupled with strong negotiation proficiency
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment is a must
  • Capable of escalating queries and concerns
  • Attentiveness and patience
  • Familiar with computers, CRM software, Microsoft Office, distribution & accounting software, etc.
  • Desire to add constructively to an evolving support team while inviting change as an opportunity rather than a threat
  • Self-motivated while being a responsible and dependable team player
  • Regular and reliable attendance at work
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly and maintain a positive attitude
