Summary
BlueBay Automation has open positions for an experienced Automation (Technical sales & applications) Engineer with solid, local market knowledge in both the Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC areas. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and technically competent Engineer that thrives in a fast-paced environment and has primary responsibilities to grow our business with existing customers, develop and gain new customers and meet/exceed our monthly and annual sales goals. All of BlueBay’s employees are challenged to continuously work to increase customer satisfaction levels as well as being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
Essential Job Functions

Generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts

Provide customer sales presentations, product demonstrations and training

Manage multiple tasks/projects at one time

Project scope definition/setting expectations with customers

Product selection – determining product compatibility for automation applications

Quote generation

Territory planning and overall business strategy planning

Proactive planning and execution of customer visits

Utilize the CRM to maintain an accurate forecast of potential business by customer and technology

Formal and self-guided product training - Continuous learning of the latest technologies
